Gary S. Berthold, President / Chief Executive Officer
Gary grew up being exposed to companion animals through working in a veterinarian hospital from his childhood through his teenage years, as his father was a well respected veterinarian. Prior to his involvement with PHMB, Gary spent the majority of his career as an independent business owner within both the construction and pet industries. He has also been involved in a professional sales and broker capacity.
Gary attended Ohio State University where he received a B.S. Degree in Biology/Zoology. During his involvement with PHMB, Gary has developed relationships with veterinary schools and veterinary oncologists throughout the country in an effort to create a "think tank", as well as incorporating these relationships into a collaborative effort within the veterinary cancer field.
Sharon Berthold, Executive Vice President / Treasurer
Prior to her involvement with PHMB, Sharon spent several years working at a variety of Veterinary Hospitals in Administration and Management. The majority of Sharon's 25+ years of business experience is in management, human resources, customer service and administration. Many of these years were spent as an independent business owner within both the construction and pet industries. Sharon has also been involved with showing her Siberian Huskies in confirmation since 1994 in addition to limited breeding. These activities have led to her involvement over the years, and presently, with several breed and all-breed clubs and functions including AKC events.
